Afternoon all. Just thought I'd join up and join in. Been riding a good few years now. Used to ride Penshurst every weekend without fail in its "hayday" . Still go there sometimes. Riden Dorking , Leith Hill etc. Mainly ride with Jedi and the guys now.
As I live near Crystal Palace now - the BT will be quite near , looks better than Penshurst which still needs work. So will hope to get there at some point. When are you closing for the year?. Don't mind coming down and help dig/build if needed.
Cheers
Mark.

Welcome Mark,
There's no closing date yet, just ride it until it's wet, nasty and unridable.
There are a few other spots round here that can be ridden all year, so keep an eye on the forum or drop me a PM for meeting up.
Enjoying south London? I know the area well..... _________________

Grew up around here - moved over to Bexleyheath when I got divorced 10 years ago or so. Had to move back as where I was living the guy who owned the flat got married and had to sell - so moved back to the area.
Will keep an eye on the forum as more stuff local to me on here. Although won't be riding for a couple of weeks pulled ligament in my knee up herts at the weekend. |

I had family down in Selhurst over looking the ground... Nice for me:-)
Good luck with the ligaments. Have pulled and torn mine before, never nice! _________________

Welcome bikermark!
Is good to have you on the forums. Is that photo taken in Chatel? Looks like a true Herts rig to me _________________

Hi Ben , yes it was taken in Chatel - went to LesGets this year with some of the Herts boys for a week and went here for the day. The slopestyle course they got there was mad - too windy to ride it . Was just glad to ride down it. It is a herts rig although have had to replace the Doubletrack recently after putting a slight flat spot in it from a mousetrap session. |
