Feature on Bedgebury's single track and freeride in this months MBUK. Yet to read it fully yet so shall reserve judgement.

Having just read the first two paragraphs its a pretty scathing attack!! Prety much stating what we all know anyway:

"So why, for the love of all things fat and gnarly, could the red singletrack route at Bedgebury not manage one solitary bike length of well judged flow? That might sound like a grumpy and damning statement, but imagine arriving at a centre and  being relieved of £7.50 just to get in. Then having sorted your bikes, you search for a quick pre-run cuppa only to find a sign forbidss you from taking your bike anywhere near the cafe?".

and

"Granted, these show that surfacing the whole route with loose gravel was an inspired wat to add an element of excitment. Unfortunately it's the kind of thrill that makes you feel lucky if you make a turn and avoid a slide".

oh and

" ,it could be more Thetford than Thetford is. Instead it does almost everything wrong. there is no apparent planning, no design, no flow and it's surfaced - to dangerous".

One read of the JAB Bedgebury singletrack Topics will see it all has been said before.

Any-one thing this may make some-one address these issues. This is a write up in the UK's no.1 MB mag.

Very interesting. I stopped reading MBUK a while ago but this seems very accurate. Who here is a member of the BFCC?

If so maybe this should be bought up at the AGM.

It has been mentioned for a long time in various places (like here). Maybe national exposure like this will force em to do something?

It's a great place don't get me wrong but does have potential to be a lot better.
