I am considering a trip to Wales for a week , and there are so many cycling centre and trails , i am not sure where to go to get the best variety and most riding in , can anyone suggest either north wales or south wales for the best allround riding ?

there's loads...starting at cwmcwn (or however you spell it!)... i think south is better from what i've read.

myself and the lemster are off to afan this weekend. theres still space available at the bunk house but you'll have to make your way there.
