Pires sounds to me as if you have found the limitations of the Trek
the worst crashes I have had is when useing the xc/am bike for dh duties
any way get well soon buddy

Autumn can be good..

The Bull was nice and tacky yesterday arvo. What's PORC DH like in damp conditions? Only live 15-20 mins away and never visit. Doesn't help that it's a fiver to ride.

porc is rubbish in the wet. the sandy earth is like glue. plus you can never wash it out of your clothes!
