I live in twells but my regular ride spot is over at surrey hills thanks to the girlfriend living over that way, ride there pretty much twice a week thanks to working shift work which allows me to ride lots.

You must be one of only a few who can say that their work and girlfriend actually help them to ride!  Laughing

Never thought of it that way before but im sure i could ride more without her  Laughing  plus it would be alot more peaceful after ive bought something bike related.

lol, too true!  Laughing

Hi all, thought i'd drop in and say hi.
I'm VERY new to MTBing again after a 10 year absence (Damn cars), back in the day I had an MTrax Titanium (Paperround money! - so many paperrounds) now I have a temp Carerra that I got on a whim and went out with my bro in law.
Fallen back in love with it again, and get a better rush than taking the ZX9-R out too - so thats going to make way for a VW Transporter (Need a van anyway) and nearer christmas i'm going to treat myself to another bike, but for now mine suits me fine for my novice ways - so if anyone is in the Worthing area and fancys a ride, just drop me a line...

Be gentle with me please, haha... (Anyone going to Brighton BigDog at the weekend?).

Sorry about the long post.

I know, but somehow the thrill of a good downhill outways the thrill of being knocked off almost by a pigeon lol!

I'm signed up to Pistonheads and use it quite a lot, but yeah I agree, there are a few good Transporters on there, may also look at transits too...

R26? Skyline?

Excellent!

No Its the R26, not the R26R. Same car just with mod cons instead of roll cages, fire extiguishers, sticky tyres and plastic windows. Laughing

Hi guys,

My name's Martin.
I'm relatively new to biking, though completely new to cycling in the south.
In a nutshell I know of only a couple of places to ride, and have only my bro to cycle with, so I am keen to get into the local cycling community.
As an overview.... I'm living in Brighton, aged 26, a design engineer with an interest in death metal. I have recently bought a Commencal Super 4.3, though I am yet to christen it.

Anyway, any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Martin

Here's my bike by the way; I've not had chance to photograph it yet so this is simply the brochure shot....
