Fair enough, I can imagine they can be fun but they can't be as versatile as a bike. You can't go on much rough stuff, I imagine!

Unfortunately due to past experiences with bmx'ers (the breed not the bike) I tend to have a negative viewpoint on them. Just how I see it. Can imagine they're fun to ride though! _________________

I got my old Huffy out of the loft but its super heavy these days. |
Got a Nirve. Don't do bikes in the UK. Like Huffy, v.much a US Brand. Its in mint condition, with ex team forks and a whole heap of very nice kit. Its from a guy who manages the MAD MTB team. Top lad knows and loves his bikes. Had a one of a kind customised Azonic Tank Hard tail for sale with rare ceramic Maxis rims.... amazing bike, was v.tempted to get involved in that too. I'll try and post some pics.
Having riden it for only a small time, going back to a little bike feels weird as hell. _________________

I'm know for certain BMX has never been about versatile but more about fun! Check the links below if proof is needed!

All the people I ride mountain bike with have more than one bike for different types of riding, so is the mountain bike truely versatile?
I have witnessed 'attitude' from BMXer's but have also seen it from mountain bikers. It's not an issue of what you ride but your attitude when you ride. The Bull Tracks attitude is laid back and very friendly with lots of support, but I personally don't feel the same at the 'R' place. Just an observation, but please don't tar every rider of a certain type of bike with the same brush!
Smile please kids! Life is too short! _________________ mein kaninchen ist kaputt |

Its a general trend old chaps. At the end of the day we're all out to get a buzz and there's loads of great people in the sport. Having lost 3 jump spots to them over the years has not made it easy though (especially allowing a bmx forum wien ). _________________

Ok, point taken some BMXers can be right T@ssers. Sorry you feel aggrieved about losing your spots but you can't say the BMX part of the forum's not proving popular _________________ mein kaninchen ist kaputt |

Purchased a BMX mag today and had a sit on a WTB Reason in a shop too. Wein - I watched Nike 6.0 yesterday morning about 4am and got the Levi DVD with Did BMX - sweeeeeeet
Think I might try and get out on the old bike before buying a new one.
Pires -the new steed sounds sweet - when I rode my BMX about 2 years ago it was the first time for about 15 years and to say it felt wierd would be an understatement. After 20 minutes I felt like I did when I was 15 (no - not horny and confused ).
Anyway - I think whatever you did as a kid, if you get a legitimate chance to do it again when you are older, its always exciting.
Glad I rode BMX and avoided building model railways
I think we need to get the lads together in the spring for a cruise around the local spots. |

I'm out any dry night (when I have a pass) at the moment getting familiar with riding a 20 inch bike again. If we get a dry evening I'll come over to TW and meet up for a pedal. Have another mate who's just got himself a new bike too. There'll possibly be a few of us. _________________ mein kaninchen ist kaputt |
