| Yeah i agree the fees are now ridiculous! There are two secret places to park if you wanna avoid them, round the other sides of the forest. I work at bedge now and the FC employ people who (nice people they are) do bugger all all summer for a fairly decnet wage, ie sitting around in the sun or their fc truck. Literally sitting all day. They should either pay these geezers for track maitenance and get a far better track, sack em off or lower car prices! |

Heh heh things don't change
Do you work at the visitor center or for the FC themselves?
Think you have to have special engieneering qualifications to carry out any work apart from the smaller spade-type adjustments. Something to do with insurance? _________________

You can park up round the other side...come in from the Hawkhurst side. It means coming up through Goudhurst. _________________

If your heading south on the A21, go past the left turn that heads down to the main entrance and keep going, past the big laybye on the left and round the corner until you see a white lodge. Park in that laybye and walk back to the lane to the left of the lodge. Go down there, through the gate and right. Head down that fireroad and you come to the bottom of the freeride area.
Bonus is that when you leave, if you go out the top, left and past the concrete loading bay, take the left fork at the junction and its downhill back to the car.
Weird but it works, and right now its about the most fun aspect of that place |
