what should i buy?what chain guide/device should i buy? i don't really want to spend much over £50 and it's got to be for a 32 tooth ring.... (preferably suited to DH & FR)

it is twin or single ring?

oh yeah good point... it's currently twin but i want to change it to single.

well either way for twin ring i'd say E-Thirteen DRS or Blackspire DEWLIE C4.
Single ring i'd say either E-Thirteen SRS or Blackspire NS-1

What's the price difference between the two. E13 often unfiendly on the wallet!
Recently got the c4 (single ring) and bent the back plate on the first ride

Blackspire NSX looks good at 50 pounds, its made for dirt jump/4x but i'm sure its good enough for dh and fr too

well the SRS stuff is all around £99 on CRC and most of the Blackspire is £49-69 (price must indidcate quality, although i've never had problems with my Blackspire gear)
while looking i also found this for DMR, looks weird but DMR is normally quality and it comes out at £59

that dmr thing looked interesting....
I've just ordered the NSX as i thought it was good price (£50 cheaper than the e13) even though it's not specifically made for DH/FR...

i've had one of those dmr chain guides on dj bike for about 3 years now and it has never failed me, its a quality piece of kit.

hmm...might try one on a bike some time, but i don't really need one at the moment so it'll be on hold.
