hhmmmm... super sweet!
Pires

I'm riding an Orange Crush as standard apart from few minor upgrades. Think I may have parted with a few notes for some FOX VANILLA RC2 36 07 FORKS by the end of the week as Marzocchi Z1 Sport RV need def. upgrading. Will replace headset, stem and bars for something more Freeride.... Raceface looks the best option. Good upgardes for a strong, rigid frame?
Ben03

Raceface is good. Especially the evolve stuff is coming down in price nicely if you're on a budget (get a nice stumpy stem  Wink )

Here's my current rigs:

jake-snake

how do you put up a photo?

also love the Hard tail
Ben03

Use something like photobucket ( www.photobucket.com ) and upload your images from your pc. When it has uploaded you get underneath the image a load of code options, select the IMG one and then paste it into a post on ze forums! Tis free and quick to set up a photobucket account as well  Smile  .

Cheers. Hardtail rides nice! Is a long frame to suit the lanky rider  Wink
phils010

i ride a bighit, but im trying to get an sx at the mo
also now have pro 2/double wide wheel set on it.

also have a kona scrap but i hardly use it
jake-snake

lets see

(Heffers: there you go)
jake-snake

thanks what did I do wrong

I worked long and hard for that bike very good all round rig.
Ben03

Phwoar that's a nice bit of kit there Jake-snake! (i'm talking about the dolls house  Wink )

How does the gear box run?

phils010 let me know when you get the SX as am looking at getting one as well.
jake-snake

the TFR is awesome I have taken it on 4 hour xc rides and also hammered it DH but it also jumps very well. As for the gear box it never let you down, you get the right gear every time. When were out riding next you must have a spin
Pires

Anyone know anything about 24 downhil bikes? Seen a frame for a 24 DH3. I thought 24 were more dirt/hardtails and BMX?
robbo

I'd pass on that if your serious. I'm sure they are fine but not a respected downhill brand really.
Pires

Indeed. Confirming what I thought. Thanks Robbo.
lemmy

Here's my Spesh XC Comp, I've upgraded the forks and used a shorter stem. Speedball seatpost has recently been added.

JAW

there's already a thread for this in the photography section but hey! Some nice rigs there!!

Post mine later...
Ben03

Yeah i no seemed quite interesting though so let it go  Wink
Pires

Sorry guys! Should have looked to see which threads were already there! But hey!!
Ben03

No its all good and helping keep things moving. Keep em coming!

Lemmys pic has given up displaying  Sad
lemmy

That was my fault, it's back now
robbo

Patriot

Gets cleaned once a year so I thought I'd plonk a pic up.

JAW

It didn't sell then in the end?
robbo

It is a pleasure to ride/jump!!
robbo

Here's the new machine - rides like a dream.

different angle

You are referring to the pink tricycle aren't you? I can't wait to see you shred on that beast! Or were you referring to the commencal....

Of course I meant the pink trike! An awesome machine!
robbo

It is actually a sweet 'pink bike'

Note the bell on there - taken from the Commencal!

My daughter shreds on that thing - tail whips are a possibility for the future and she's even been inverted - well she fell off, but that counts when your 2 surely.
Ben03

Heh heh tis a long learning curve!

Props for the awesome avatar btw  Cool
JAW

robbo wrote:

She must have been going extreme to stack a tricycle!
Heffers

i'm sure some of you had forgotten but i was building a new bike...and here is is almost finished.

Ben03

Niice very sleek  Cool  is that the Norco shore? Like the touches of gold in the components.
Heffers

It's a Six. Similar to the one Byoco rode to a Crankworks win, only he was running an air shock.

unfortunetly the front rotor may end up being black  Sad
JAW

Nice, like the subtle touches of gold.
Pires

Have you checked out the Spank accessories... they've gone mad for the gold stuff. However it isn't exactly understated.
Heffers

haha...i assume you mean the Royola line?

i've considered it but much of it is just a step too far i think, i might consider the rims if the 6.1's ever need replasing.
JAW

Heffers wrote:

True, too much gold 'bits' can spoil a bike.
Metalibiker

I rode my Azonic eliminator yesterday at the track for the first time , it was excellent , it rides better than i expected for a 4 yr old frame , Lee's son Jay rode it and said it was a fast bike , i take that as a good thing .

JAW

£500 for that frame sounds like a bargain!
phils010

the frames retail at £1099 the frame i got was only 3 months old, so yeh it was a bargain. im stoked with it Smile
Pires

The Gambler:

phils010

that is sweet, always like the look of them frames
looks pretty heavy tho, do you know how much it wieghs ?
Pires

phils010 wrote:

Pretty heavy, but then again its really robust too. Has to be to tolerate my sketchy riding!! Laughing

Been trying to lighten it up, but because the frames so much its kinda pointless. It must be around the 37-39kg area. It pretty much weighed the same as Lems "Big Hit" when he had the 26" on the front.
Ben03

Good to see the Easton bars on  Cool
jake-snake

strong, heavy, expensive

pick 2 out of the 3
yorkey

looks well lush m8 if it ride's half as good as it looks it must be awsome
jake-snake

forgot to say
the Gambler is Pires he gambels every time he swings a leg over that bike

My new ride!

Hi Guys, new to the forum, just built up a Meta 4x, thought you'd like to see.

lemmy

Looks sweet. Are those Rockshox Recon?
Randy

Cheers, There only Reba's but not a bad fork, Prob the next upgrade.
I Updated my old GT and then swoped it all over to the Meta frame. Loving the 4X handling, of the Bedge later, I saw some new single track the other day, give that a go. wohooo.
JAW

Looks great! I bet it handles well too.
Randy

I think I got used to the old Gt Sad  This thing Rocks! Shocked  Unbelievable!! Only slight prob is I'm not used to wide bars lol Trees jumping out at me lol,
The Dirt jump section in the freeride bit on the 4x is just incredible!
Would love to come and have a play at the Bull Track sometime, my mate Yorke went the other day and said it was great!
lemmy

Lee sorted me out some matching forks. Good work Lee!
robbo

It's a 5 bar gate now!
jamie

Is that a 24 inch on the rear ?
lemmy

24 both ends innit
kona crasher

Does that make it a kids bike !!!!!!!!
lemmy

It's a big kids bike
Pires

Love the gate!

Looks to be sitting up alot more at the front.
JAW

Nice, love the colour coordination!
lemmy

Same size forks as before. I changed them because the Jnr Ts were too sqaushy.  When the Boxxers went on, I found I was carrying more speed but also overclearing stuff I wouldn't of before at the same speed. I think the old forks were sucking all the momentum out of everthing. Comfy though.

(Yes  Rob, I have some time on my hands today, will probably go and clean my hubs with a toothbrush later)

Metalibiker

Just had the first clean in like 4 months so thought ide take some pics =)

Upgrading as fast as possible, looking to buy boxxers and a dhx5 next. spec list so far on request =D

http://bedgeburybiker.pinkbike.com/album/Updated-Bike-Pictures/
phils010

imo id stick with the van r, its more reliable then a dhx and you wont hardly be able to notice the diferance in performance.
a new set of forks is a good idea tho Smile
yorkey

just baught my first big rig its a bit tatty but i think it could look awsome with some TLC its a 2006 A line  Smile
only paid £600 for it

jake-snake

for that money thats a real sweet rig
Bull track thrasher
yorkey

yeah m8 i hope so!!!  Very Happy
