Top riders

Which top names in our sport inspire you and why? It can be from riding style, personality any discipline, anything like that  Cool
Pires

Steve Romaniuk -  Bags and bags of style and goes big.
Cam Mcaul - Slick, slick, slick
Randy Spangler - An old Dog with plenty of tricks
Greg Minaar - So fast, so good!
Matti Lehikoinen - He falls down but just keeps getting back up. Got high hopes for Matti!!
Peaty - He's a legend
Brendan Fairclough - Have you seen him Dirt Jump? Great Rider!
Lem - He's my rock and inspiration!!!!! Laughing
lemmy

Erm... you haven't bought any Lycra lately?
Ben03

Ok here's mine (will probably forget a few):

Ryan Leech - Seems a good bloke and rides with masses of fluidity.
Kirt Voreis - Really unusual good riding style.
Thomas Vanderham - big mtn big tricks.
Wade Simmonds - Aiding the shore movement.
Darren Berrecloth - Clicked style.
Peaty - True Brit and top rider (and for beating Vouliozs' win record!!).

Think that's it.
JAW

- Mainly Peaty - I know it's almost a cliche, but he does deserve cred.
- Robbie Bourdon for his achievement in NWD9
- Aaron Chase seems like a dude and sure can ride street and dirt
- A few that have already been mentioned such as Simmons, Vanderham etc

sure there's more but can't think of 'em right now...

He's one of the best but THE best?

Sam Hill bike handerling skills are unreal:

if you rode down the champary world cup track you would under stand, he is just soo much better than the rest, hes won red bull events, as well as re-writeing the record books when he stays on he wins by unreal margins and is still a baby.

Agree Hill has awesome speed. Look at the World Champs last year. Yes Gee looked quick but Sam was in a whole different league. He rides right on the edge and seems to find speed from evertywhere. He's the guy everyone has to beat, no matter who is sitting at the top of the table.
Metalibiker

Peaty - Legend.
Wade Simmons - SHORE!
Cam McCaul - Just because he pulled of a 360 flip whip in seasons...  i mean comon thats just silly.
Robbie Bourdon - So ridiculously lacking style its funny, but he is insane.
Bender - Jah drop 4 times? hes a few panels short of a fence if you ask me.
Kyle Strait - Style.
Cedric Gracia - the definition of what the sport should be; party, ride smooth [like silk smooth], party oh, and did i mention riding and partying?

Have a look at the pic of him making up for lost time on the downhill in this month's Dirt. 'Cowboy style' and all!

True, gotta love Strait's tables! and Cam McCaul is also great for his humour and non-serious attitude. Good bloke.
