T.Wells RocksThe last few weekends I've been taking the dogs out hunting for new lines in and around the Common and Rusthall.
It seems the council have been really busy cutting back all the dense areas of brush around the rocks and a whole new world seems to have emerged.
e.g Up by the 101 steps near the Beacon, all the rocks are now open with drops galore and long steep landings. Its a real shame the fence is still in down the bottom as that would be a great little bit of DH.
I've also come across a nice little area that had some DJ builing potential. A natural bowl with run in and pot. some cool lines. Might have to get the gardening gear and shovel out over the hols and do some clearing.
If you've not been up on the Common for awhile go and have a butchers as there is plenty of new lines. Especially up on the Ridge on the Langton Road.
Although am I right in thinking its no Cycling??? Fck Em!!

I've noticed some spots opening up too.
Some of the old lines I used to hit years ago are now open again and it looks like fun.
Going to head out over Christmas and see what i can find.
I think it is 'no cycling' but if you go early am there is never anyone around.
Piers - will text night before i go

I'm up for that. I think I've had one decent ride this month. I'm going mad. I've carried on building a little trail at the back of my house. I think it'll be ok in the end. So far it's about a 30-40 second run with a pump bump, two small doubles some single track and some low ramps made out of fallen trees. I think I'll be able to extend it a bit further into some more doubles .
It's going to be called the 'Lem Track', a poor relation of the Bull Track on account of all the trees.

Will be out clearing new lines over the next few weeks hopefully too.

If that is Bulls Hollow, don't bother honestly. Nothing lasts a day there and if it does the Council see to it that its gone by the end of the month...
Shame as it's got perfect sandy soil, good run-in and all.

No, it's nowhere near Bulls Hollow. More along the ridge by St. Pete's.

The Lem Track is still in it's infancy and not worth a journey to yet. I added another section over the holiday with 4 tight berms downhill under some trees finishing in a step-down jump on a decline. I'm curious to see what'll happen as it's very near to well known 'bad area'. It might get vandalised although it's pretty well hidden.
