Local TrailsPeople,Looking for some decent local trails arount Rusthall, High Rocks etc. Somthing fast with some air etc. Been scouting around, but such a thing doesn't seem to exist. Think I'm going to have to start looking further afield. Cheers

Yeah have a car.... not a problem. Get over to Bedgebury once a week and have a membership down there. Just looking for something around Rusthall or the Wells, so I can hit something local after work. Not made it over to PORC as yet, but here that gets pretty busy and can't be arsed with that! | ||

Bull Track is looking very nice right now! We are also working on some shore/ jumps near to your location. It isn't downhill trails but fun for a quick jump/balance sesh. You'd be welcome to come down and have a look around sometime just drop me a pm if you want to check it out

It's more trails with long flattish doubles and berms. Not as steep as dirt jumps but good fun. What bike are you on? |

Hardcore hardtail, near on 6" of travel at the front and a strong rigid rear. Looking at a full susser later in the rear. Want to get my riding down on the hardtail first. |

It is a club place so is kept low key. Can PM them over if you like? You will prob need someone to show you where they are as its a wee hike from the road. It is in one of those rare locations which doesn't have a road interupting evey three seconds... | ||

Got a mate who knows the location and knows a few riders down there. Looking to head down there next Friday (afterwork) or sunday am. Can't do this weekend due to climbing in the lakes..... (fool)! If anyones up for Rotherfield let me know if your around over those days.
Should be amusing to watch me way out of my depth!!

Nah you'll love it. Is a real buzz to ride. Most of the doubles you can go round and just hit the berms if you like.
Might be around T Wells this sat for a look at the local stuff. |

I'll def. give it a blast next week then. No can do for Sat, as I'm climbing Scarfell Pike in the Lake diistrict Sat morning 2.30am! and then again at 9.30..... training for the 3 peaks in June. Weather currently looking really fckin bad so not exactly up for it!!!! 
Sorry mate, maybe next week...... but def on for hooking up. Looks like a few others on this thread may be interested too. |

I'm currently riding a Spesh XC comp (full suss) It's really not quite right for job. It was originally a 100mm travel bike but I've upgraded the forks to 130mm. I've been riding mostly singletrack and small doubles for the last year and a half but I'm getting more drawn to bigger stuff. I know I'm going to need a beefier bike pretty soon. To be honest some of the stuff down at the Rother scares the arse off me just by looking at it but it'd be good to learn some of the mellowest lines as a start point. I'm pretty lame right now.

Only hit the first to trials on the single track today. Its not as sh*tty as it has been. Went and spent the rest of the time over on the shore and dirt until my fcking valve snapped!! The dirt isn't looking as shabby as I thought it would. Despite the rain I have seen it in a worse state.
I'm heading over on Monday too. Prob. be early morning as bank holidays there are a nightmare!! |

yeah ill try rally everyone around on sunday so we can aim to arrive around 9ish too it would only be adam that we'd be waiting for although he could ride down or somthing?
