f**k S**t c**t...The worst injury i ever had riding my patriot was a broken bone in my hand along with countless cuts and getting the wind knocked out of me...
but today totally took the prize for worst stack ever by far..
Nothing quite prepares you for hitting wet tarmac at about 25mph and sliding 10 metres plus wearing only lycra...
fuck fuck fuck...
this hurt alot... and my skins still bleeding and weeping like crazy..
Just thaught i'd share this with you and ask what everyone elses worst stacks have been?..

OWWWW Sh*t.....My eyes are watering at that pain. From experience that is going to be 4-5 days of sticking to everything you wear and touch. You'll be definately peeling yourself of the sheets in the morning...... not helping am I!

aha cheers! yeh, i went into wildside to have my bike checked over and the guys were just taking the piss telling me about how i'd have to rip the sheets off in the morning with blood everywhere....
Its fucking painful....
(amazingly my bike was okay by the way, though i snapped one of the cleats on my shoes clean in two)
Just hit a slick patch while over-doing it round a corner when it was wet this morning.... one minute i was cruising next i was lying on the floor.... think i slid around 10 metres.... bit of a shock really....
still, can't help but be proud of my wounds.... can't wait to get back on the bike again!

see theres a picture of my helmet there.... its pretty crumpled until you get to the carbon fibre... great stuff...

Hope i'll be able to sew up the assos (can't afford new shorts!)
and as for a new helmet, i was thinking more along the lines of a giro atmos... not a fan of the spesh D2's styling..
sadly i can't make the ride on friday anyway, but yeh now i'm pretty much totally out of action now...
I'm hoping my wounds haven't freaked out Jim too much, when i showed them to him in wildside he seemed traumatised! don't want Jim going any slower you know!

holy shit that must be agony . but anyone who rides in lycra on the black stuff , well your own fault , you should stick to dirt and grass , i have had some great stacks and walked away a bit bruised and embarrassed by my stupidity of falling off . thats why i am kona crasher

If i ride on the black stuff i do like to have most of my skin covered even though you get a bit hot . As from your pictures you can see tarmac takes no prisoners when you crash on it .

My worst one is probs when i was at porc on me old bike, and being not clever enough to realise i wasnt good enough to do it, thrashed the 4x and nose dived the table after the bridge and pulled all the muscles in my left shoulder and i couldnt move it for a week. Had blood ones too but i wont go into that...
