Big HitApologies for buying a bike over a bank holiday because I know absolutely for sure it'll will rain hard as soon as the deal's done. I did manage to sneak in a half hour ride at the local bomb hole as the clouds gathered. The difference between the Specialized XC and Bit hit is huge. Can't wait to try it out at the bull track on Thursday. Hope the rain stops in time

It's like the product of an intimate affair between a bike and a steam roller, probably verging on an antique as well. Having said that, the half hour I've managed to spend on it so far was a blast. Very stable.

If you look at the paving in the photos you can see the spots of rain starting to fall. Also, looking forward to getting the XC fixed so I can do the singletrack. Won't matter if it's a bit damp for that.
