Best trail? What trail would you reckon to be the best you've ever ridden? Can be anywhere in the world...

Up to now the best ride i have ever had was Doris from No 32 , no no sorry it was Whites level at Afan forest wales . The up hill is not so good but the single track and northshore back down are superb .

Trail off the top of Oliver BC. Singletrack heaven with bits of shore, leading to Heartbreak Ridge. I couldn't ride the Ridge... but I can't wait to get back there next year to try it again. A little taste of nirvana...

Interesting one. Could well be the main Pleney run in Morzine. This year was definitely the best yet with more tweaks here and there. Either that or the secret stuff Super Morzine side. Big grin factor on the steep stuff .
How is the North Downs doing? Last i heard was it was on a bit shakey ground with conservationists or whoever oversee's it.

i would say the pleney but my hands still disagree
also some of the runs in avoriaz were also really good entrys into them a bit sketchy but really tech and natural.

le pelney is pants, IMO
last year I was in the area for 2 week only rode it once to see if its still rubbish
it was,
there are plenty of good tracks that branch of off le pleney
as for best trail
Bala is very good uk race track
the Mega singel track after the snow is proper
barry knows best is also tops for the southeast
bobs back yard for tech

You don't like it?? How? It is quite straight in places if you are a tech fan but the speed is the beauty of it. Don't understand how you can't like it!
Am still picking blisters on the hands J-P

Probably one of those secret tech lines in the alps that just last and last and last. Constantly on the edge whilst managing to glimpse the stunning views without falling into them.

anyone who loves Pleny has not rode any decent tracks IMO
its a totaly bumed out wa#k track
if you ride it proper flat out you are well fu#ked after one run
110% is fun but th braking bump are 3m long and wheel deep
the gully run on the same hill is much more challenging and fun
this is just my view but its true

one of my fav trail is like that, its called agrifolia(i think) is in the imperia valley in italy, it starts of on a sweet ridge line, super rocky and tech, the exposure is unreal, goes in to the wood with some nice little rock drops and s berms, it just went on for an age, i loved it,
anthother fav trail/area to ride is finale, ive only spent 1 day there and it was rainin hard all day, but that didnt stop us from enjoin the sweet trails.

Someone doesn't like the Pleney
Normally I prefer the slower more tech runs but found after riding elsewhere for a day it was always one of those trails you could return to for a 'one last run' before lifts close. Seems to be a love it or hate it thing by the looks of it
Phils010 did you have a guide for the Itallian stuff?
