|
|
Thought it might be worth posting this type of thing up to get a wider range of opinions etc.
After a fair straight in the shore, it takes a left hand corner. Rather than just leading the shore round the corner again (yawn) we should try spice up the line a bit, especially as there's a tree in exactly the right place to build a wall or quater against.
Came up with two sketches of possible ideas:
1.
This one would make use of the already planted stakes in the ground, giving it an option to either leave the wall and ride straight off the small drop, or go a bit faster and carve into a hipped-stye drop
2.
This one would require slightly different setup. The 1/4 would have 3 stages to it at varying degrees. The section into it could either be across the ground or use low-level shore. This would also have to option to avoid/berm it/ hip to dirt transition.
Both would transition to dirt, giving the advantage of being able to work a good point where the line could be used if further progress isn't made before opening. The next section could then also start with dirt step-up to shore...
Just think it would make it more unique/attractive/fun to ride and would help get more people down for a sesh. What are the thoughts on this?

Tis great to have you both back on

The first is like a wood berm to a drop, with a level 'chicken line' option, the second is basically like a stand-alone 1/4 pipe.

Would be great to get them online. Do they know about the forum yet?
