I've heard there's meant to be some great stuff to ride up in London. Haven't been to check it out yet though as wouldn't know where to start looking!

Does it compare with the likes of Brighton?

There are a number of spots in London. The Wandsworth Roundabout is built for sessioning (when it's not flooded) and the BMXers are down there most weekends seem friendly to us mtbers.

There are other spots in Westminster (morelike steps and small wallrides) but you have to get there on a super quiet day to prevent yourself being shouted at for having fun by the council nazi, I mean, patrol officers (the police have bigger fish to fry). The steps in Trafalgar Square tempt me every day... one day I'll do em when there's no one around!

There are loads of places in the City, but I don't venture out there much, but it's worth going on a bank holiday when no ones around.

Cheers for the pointers! Like the way the light at the Imax magically appeared to mess up the double set. Think the council are a bunch nazis. We had some local car park 'mysteriously' gravelled and new railings put up cos it was popular with riders, skaters etc.....

umm.. ok so just came back from street riding. met up with this dude at wandsworth roundabout, were chatting had the usual kids come up to us and do the 'can i ride your bike' and adults doing the 'do a wheelie'. so managed to fend them off - usually i do the talking coz they're not used to girls being out there. anyhoo... along come the rozzas and ask how long we had been there for... 'uh, not long' thinking we were in trouble or something. oh, not really... rather they were looking for some dude who had been seen brandishing a gun in the area... argh - just be warned that although it's a great place to do wallrides and stuff, wandsworth roundabout is the ghetto!!!
