Posted this on Southern Downhill as well....

Anyone want to book private uplift on Sat 16th Aug? We have 6 of us so far and need to make the numbers up to at least 10.
They're asking £30 per head, it's a proper bike rack so no scratches.

Let me know if you're up for it!

It was brilliant. Never been on an uplift service before. We got about 20 runs in between 10 and 5 with an hour break at 1pm. The truck was pretty swift and we had no more than 2mins wait each time. The journey up the hill was pretty bumpy as well. There were about 4 or five different routes most of you could vary as some crossed over. I'd recommend it to anyone. It was quite challenging for me who hasn't done much riding of that type in the past but that made it interesting.

It's not far past Bournemouth

Piers got us there in just over two hours but I think that was a good day as it was 3-4 hours in Dudleys bus which it a bit slower. Depends alot on traffic
