I have been there , it is ok but some of it is to big for me , they were in the process of rebuilding the shore when i went , the 4x track is very stoney and would not be nice to crash on , plus it is advisable to go on a uplift day or only ride half the way down as it is a long way up . _________________ Looking good going slow |

UK Bike Park Conclusion....... Over Rated. It defiantely wasn't worth 3 hours in the car. A good day all in all, but it really is limited in its offering.
Yes it looks like there are allot of trials, but they are really just 20-50 metre variations of one or two main trials.
The Downhill was greatl, but with no uplift and with at least a 30 minute hike back up we only had one real run all the way down. Plenty of Downhill lines there but you'd spend most the day walking back up the hill.
The North Shore was shut but wasn't fantastic. There were some interesting gaps and jumps, but well beyond my capability.
It made Lem, Weiner and I realise how lucky we are to have so much good stuff on our doorsteps. _________________

Yes we are lucky to have the bull track , but also in my opinion you would have had more fun going to Chicksands or esher (if you wanted shore to ride) as they are both closer and better in my view . _________________ Looking good going slow |

Ah, good to hear some feedback on the place. Saves a lot of petrol to find out the same thing!
I suppose it would be worth it if you were in the area? _________________

Pires, I wouldn't go there without having pre-booked the uplift, crazy!
A few of us went yesterday (uplift booked at £30 a head all day - min 10 riders for private hire)
I've been three times and one lad who went who has only been riding for a year and has only rode his 'big bike' three times, managed to drop the larger of the two road gaps and hit the 30' table beyond.
He actually over jumped it and over rotated his bike making him land on his feet, result: one broken knee, ouch.
Worth a trip, but much better in the summer, bloody hard this time of year. |

Next time will be definately booking aprivate up lift. Are they using those EXMOD tracked Viking things yet?
Will need to get the bike set up for full on DH as Freeride set up didn't make it too easy either and the FR stuff was pretty disappointing.
Sh*t sorry to hear about your mate on the tabletop. All I managed was a broken finger after spanking the handlebars into the wall on landing.
Lem and I hit Chicksands on Sat and that was spot on. Spent most the day riding the DualX.
