I heard yesterday they were looking for somewhere to finish the last 2 DH races as PORC was no longer available.

There was talk about using the Bull although I don't think they want to do that now.

The main problem seemed to be lack of attendance. What is up with South East when it comes to racing. Other series in the UK sell out like concert tickets!

Maybe more media publicity is needed?

Don't know possibly. Saw a banner from one of the main sponsors for PORC on moredirt which is further than that news normally gets. Not sure how far other series usually push themselves in advertising?

read this quote from another site it all ballony just so mike can get in the paper, good for the bull it was super busy on Sunday.

"
hi
yes mike is keeping the place and it was never the plan to sell the hole place, only a small part of it so that he had some money to finish off he club house and a few other things.

and now he has asked me to find out a price that you lot would pay for an uplift.
and there will be one. but the price has not been decided.

An uplift at porc WTF ?? has the hill grown over the last 2 years  Laughing

I reckon they should flatten the lot then it would save me wondering whether to ever start riding there again. it was quite fun camping and having bbqs, and it has great potential and has had for the last 10 years so I doubt anything will ever come good of it.

The beer and bikes weekend should be fun (ties in with NPS). Am not sure if they have a permanent marked course there now? If not it would be good if they let everything grow over, then built 3-4 designated downhill runs. Would save on the confusion for one!
