Hi everyone just starting riding again after a few years break, got a few questions about Bedgebury:

1. Is the Shore stuff suitable to ride on a hardtail?
2. When you guys digging again, want to get some trail building knowledge so I can speak to the FC in my area (Horsham, Sussex, near Gatwick) to see if I can get some sections round here

Cheers

Welcome on board Lifer Very Happy

The shore is fine on a hardtail. It's probably an advantage to have no rear shock as there are currently no drops/gaps. The stuff's all rollable and skinnies are probably easier without the rear suss bobbing.
Just avoid the see-saw drop on the last section and take it easy on the steep run-outs. They are particually harsh so go easy!

I am trying to get a date sorted for another digging session so will keep you posted!

Feel free to post wherever. It's great to have another member on board Smile

hello from me.

you can do anythng on a hardtail...the only limit is how strong/spongy your legs are. never feel limited by what you ride...just find a way to work round things, then if you ever get a full sus you will own everything *insert evil laugh here*
