Sounds a wierd question but wondered what was thought here. Freeride is about having fun on a bike. I call myself a freerider but is that a real discipline that I'm riding?

hhm, thats an interesting thought.

i suppose freeriding is more about how you ride than what you ride. it mixes too many other diciplins together to really define it.

so undecieded at the moment.

Yes and no really. In a way it is but then again it could be one discipline to define biking as a whole: freedom (if you get what i mean). i dunno...

Yeah interesting. Does it become a discipline when you compete in it? Like with downhill, it only really comes to its own in competition, otherwise it is just freeride again.

Is shore a seperate discipline or a part of freeride?  Laughing
