Sounds a wierd question but wondered what was thought here. Freeride is about having fun on a bike. I call myself a freerider but is that a real discipline that I'm riding?

hhm, thats an interesting thought.
i suppose freeriding is more about how you ride than what you ride. it mixes too many other diciplins together to really define it.
so undecieded at the moment. _________________ |

Yes and no really. In a way it is but then again it could be one discipline to define biking as a whole: freedom (if you get what i mean). i dunno... _________________

Yeah interesting. Does it become a discipline when you compete in it? Like with downhill, it only really comes to its own in competition, otherwise it is just freeride again.
Is shore a seperate discipline or a part of freeride? _________________
