A few years ago the American riders left us in the dust and moaning as the UK was once the leading DJ country. It looked like they were light years ahead. It struck me the other week at the Qashqai (which lets face it, was a DJ contest) how dominent the European forces were in the finals. Do you think we've taken the crown back?

Another thing that struck me was the boom of new tricks over the last few years seems to be coming to a halt. What next?

Hopefully we have. Although we did take both wins on the final day the UK wasn't exactly out in force.

As for tricks, the superfilp was the newest (wasn't it?) and that's two years ago now.

Quality old old school bike! I just acquired a Kink ROC and have now embarked on a steep and painful learning curve!

Are we turning every post into a BMX post...

I want an old GT Pro Performer - in bright yellow like Eddie Fiola once had.

Ha, ha, I met him once at the level in Brighton!

Good luck with the learning curve Wein - where are you riding?

An old topic has been reborn...

Am not a BMX man myself. Too small and cramped. They kinda feel like they are trick only toys and very restrictive. MTB's are far more versatile!
