I know it's way early but how about organising a bumper Bull weekender next year with BBQ and camping?
The idea would be to get some new members from further afield. We could put some messages on SDH, BikeRadar MoreDirt etc. Maybe include a little competition as well. I could probably arrange some prizes from work.
This could be the downhill race but if not maybe a 'Jam' kind of thing.

Sounds a bit like the Esher Shore 'Jam' they have once a year.
If you throw in a downhill race then you've got most disciplines covered and should get a lot of people coming along.
Interesting... |

A good thought. Had considered doing a BBQ day this Sept but thought the turnout may be a bit shite. Combining with a race or whatever my alter that... Nice _________________

If Alvar is looking to run a race alongside the BBQ and camping, we should all look to chip in financially.
I know the last couple of BR4R events haven't exactly left Alvar feeling they are financially worthwhile with subs not covering the cost for timing equipment etc. _________________

Rather than 'chip in' would it not be better to tap up a few brands for a bit of assistance to make it work.
I do some work with a firm in this area and they could well assist if there are sufficient people behind the idea - one of them obviously being Alvar! |

Yeah before we re-establish the BR4R series its probably one best to chat with 1. The guy that owns the land 2. The guy who runs BR4R 3. oh and the guy who is the boss..... a.k.a ALVAR. ......Oh and the guy who's hard work this summer according to "DIRT" magazine has been busy building all the lines...... LOL that really gets the Hippies back up and makes him so bitter!!!!
