There has been alot of talk for the need to upgrade the shore for 07. The main opinion going was the fact that there needed to be more flow in the lines. The designs below contain some simple ideas with the following changes: 1: Bermed corner to rollable drop. 2: Step-up to box drop to wall-ride. 3: Transitioned downramp to double. 4: wooden kicker to gap.

Should the discombubulator be moved to elsewhere?

What else would you like to see added?

All opinions welcome....

The shore area definitely needs some more adrenaline style stuff, e.g jumps drops etc. Those ideas look great but will the FC actually give permission for that sort of stuff.

The first section I'm sure would be fine. I'm not too sure about the step up to box drop though. Will try to talk them into it! Maybe if the take off is level with the box top it would lessen the chances of injury so would appeal to the FC more, and I'm hoping a few propper drops will be ok. Very Happy

That seesaw drop at the end definately needs sorting Cool

I like the bermed stuff more of that please. Just get rid of that crap triple seesaw thing.

More berms - love the idea of transitions + step-up + drops. Esher has a few obstacles I wonder if you could copy their H+S risk assessments?

otherwise IMBA has a load of diagrams of approved designs.

I reckon your plans look pretty good tbh... not that I know about these things really. Very Happy
Have to say, when I watch folk going round the shore I never seem to think the ee-saws work that well so I'd kinda agree that maybe they need replacing.

I think the first one works ok but the second one seems stupid that it just drops to flat.

Think I'll try IMBA. Tried Esher shore but got no reply (as usual). Cheers for pointer though!

Think gingaboar was refering to the tripple see saw? But yeah the seesaw to flat needs sorting too!
