Joy! BMX has been added to the Trials/Street sub-forum.

As there's a few of us in the forum who used to or still do ride a BMX, we've now got a place to discuss anything BMX related. If you you have any news, vids or products to share, if you know of any good street spots, visited any good skateparks or even have 'some back in the day' pictures or stories, post them in the Trials/Street/BMX sub-forum.

25 years Jedi! Good work!

I'm back riding after about 12/13 years and loving it! I was talking to Stuart at Seventies and he was saying a lot of older riders were coming back to BMX. I had a feeling there was more than just a couple of us on the forum with a secret 20inch past!

Have a look at some of the edits I've posted. BMX has moved on so much.

I'm afraid I too spent my "youf" messing about on BMX's. Several Huffy's, and a Haro were my previous steeds. I also had a mag wheeled Burner about 10 years ago for London transport.

Just purchased a BMX, so winter street riding here I come!

Never did and never will do (hopefully). I find a 24" dirt jump bike small enough as it is...

NEVER SAY NEVER. 10 years ago I wouldn't have gone near a mountain bike!

Indeed! and try every thing twice and don't knock it 'til you've tried it!

Yeah they feel small and 'weird' to start with, but give it 2 weeks and you'll be suprised what you can do/get away with on one. Then take that back to mountain biking. This is my 3rd time riding BMX and I'm loving it!

Like Pires I'd have not looked at a mountain bike before, if it wasn't for an ankle injury.

Pires - what did you get?

I got my old Huffy out of the loft but its super heavy these days.

Hoping to ride it anyway, when the weather clears up a bit.
