Yes I know the link looks like the start times for sundays DH, but check out the pics at the bottom of Andrew Neethlings Trek with new aerodynamic parts. I think these parts are also featured in Dirt this month!

i havnt seen the wheels befor, but the number board scoop thingy acts as a very good mud guard apparently. its in one of the many vids from the worlds.
and yeh there is a write up about this stuff in dirt, i didnt bother to read it tho as i think its a wast of time and money trying to make a dh bike more aerodynamic. _________________

Seriously I think every little bit helps. It makes no difference to you and me, but when the top boys are posting times so close every bit counts. Skin suits!! The tests prove you go faster!! |

| ummmm...isn't that cheating? i'll ask oli, he did aerodynamic engineering... his response to my "will it give an advantage?" is... "it will a bit". There you have it. |

I just finished reading the article in Dirt and it is fairly interesting what they found, however I doubt it would give more advantage than a skin suit, and as Jones points out in the article, hitting the wrong rock at the wrong time is always going to have a greater impact on your time! That said it is still interesting and according to the article "worth every penny" of hiring out the wind tunnel! _________________

Fair point, but when you are can be talking about hundreths of a second between 1st and second, every bit counts. _________________
